I have long been a fan of Cloud Star treats, especially the Soft and Chewy Buddy Biscuits, which are AMAZING for training, as well as the Chewy Tricky Trainers. Dogs go bananas for these treats, and will work to get them.
When Cloud Star released their new line of treats, Dynamo Dog, I was pretty excited to try them. These dog treats are all natural, grain free, and they come in three formulas, each containing supportive elements for your dog’s health.
The “Tummy” formula has ginger and pumpkin, along with probiotics; the “Hip and Joint” formula contains glucosomine and chondroitin sulfate; and the “Skin and Coat” has Vitamin E. Why are these things important? Because they address issues that many dogs have, and they do it in a tasty treat that even the most persnickety dog should like.
I love the idea of a multi-function treat – it’s good for Fido and he will work to get one. I always make my dogs sit or do a behavior (“trick”) before getting a treat, and I recommend this to all of my training clients. I say “one” treat because these aren’t like the Buddy Biscuits, where you can give several treats over a training session (or, just because it’s Tuesday). These treats are basically a supplement, and the feeding instructions are on the bag.
What happens if you over feed? I fed my three dogs an entire bag of the “Tummy” treats before reading the feeding instructions (doh!), making them go through their repertoires of tricks. They were all absolutely fine.
I’m always happy to give a good review of a new product to a company that deserves it, and I honestly like everything that Cloud Star makes, including the new Dynamo Dog treats. If it seems like I’m gushing over this company’s products – I am. Cloud Star’s treats have brought ease to my dog training life for years.
